TerraMath joins OMVThermal project. The project "Potential utilization of deep geothermal energy in the Vienna Basin" (OMVTHERMAL) is designed to survey, evaluate and present the potential exploitability, including environmental and economic aspects, of geothermal resources in the central and northern Vienna Basin on a broad scale as well as to develop two specific and feasible geo-thermal projects in the investigated region, and thereby to develop (or help to develop) the knowledge foundation necessary for the OMV to set up a supplementary business sector while acting as a regional supplier of renewable energy.

SDC NEW SDC - Spatial Data Capture is a software tool which allows to generate a series of screenshots from google earth to cover a large area at high resolution. The user defines the area of interest and the software will download satellite / map / overlayed images with a predefined resolution. Finally the single tiles are merged to one single large image.
SDC will save the tiles as jpeg, bmp of tiff file with a geograhic header file. More over SDC can be used as google earth browser (including 3D) with coordinate readout!
The software was developed in collaboration with Dr. Ulrike Exner / University of Vienna. SDC is available at our online shop.
